  • ebutuoy88 2 years ago

Why not essential oils? I thought many have benefits to the skin?

  • jasmine b 2 years ago

  • Oxana124 2 years ago

Actually jojoba does go rancid, it takes about a year, but I have
definitely had it go rancid on me before.

This eye look is stunning! I love the idea of adding oils to my loose
mineral foundation. I do worry about essential oils, as those can create
    photo-sensitivity. Great video.

  • Oxana124 2 years ago

You can, but it may make them crease quicker.

Your makeup look amazing today. I love your eye look!

Ok thanks! Well, I guess when you have success with mattes,

Thank you! You can even use more oil and make it like a liquid foundation,
without a blender, just mix up in your hand and apply. It would be like a
cream foundation, but without the waxes that make it solid.

Jojoba oil is an excellent choice because it never goes rancid and is very
moisturizing and has no smell, everyday minerals has mineral foundation
infused with jojoba it’s very moisturizing powder

  • Oxana124 2 years ago

Let me know how you like it if you try :) I have been wearing that
foundation I made in this video like everyday.

  • Oxana124 2 years ago

Thanks, I hope it works out well for you if you try it! :)

Wow, this is so great! I have lots of mineral foundations that are matte
formula and my skin got little drier. I was gonna buy new ones ( everyday
mineral came out ‘jojoba mineral formula not too long ago) I am so gonna
try a batch using coconut oil! You rock!!

    Thank you so much :)

Thank you :) I did make all the shadows I am wearing. I think the
    Seabuckthorn is helping me.

Great video! I am inspired to try tweaking my powders! I love mineral
    powders too.

Wow, Oxana! What a great idea. A really informative video, as usual. I
might even try it. Thanks! :)

  • iluvjesse444 2 years ago

This eye look is STUNNING on you. Did you make the purple lid color? And
you’re so knowledgable about this – I think I’ll give it a go! Adding sea
    buckthorn is a great idea.

  • Oxana124 2 years ago

Oh they are great, but they can cause photo-sensitivity, and also they are
very strong and if you use too much that can be bad. Not to mention they
are pricey. So I rarely use them because of those reasons. But I don’t
avoid them in finished products, I just am not that skilled in using them
    myself on my skin.

  • Oxana124 2 years ago

Thank you! I was trying something new with the eye makeup, I would do a
tutorial except it took me forever to do this look, maybe once I get a
little better at it I will film it :)

  • metallicleoraa 2 years ago

Ok! I wish I had the fractionated oil, but I will have some soon. I plan to
    get it.
