Thank you. And yes, you’re blessed to have edges that just lay down. Oh, I wish! I always use gel. It does wonders for me! lol And, do you remember what the sock-like headbands are called?

I don’t use gel since being natural going on two years now, I find that my edges lay down as are or maybe with a hair scarf overnight. Plus the stocking thing, I found these amazing sock like head bands that require no tying whatsoever and easy. Maybe I’m lucky. Good video.

  • MsPlatinumfaces 4 years ago

This video is what caused me to subscribe!! Love because I have thin edges as well

  • GodCallsMeBeloved 4 years ago

Wow! Really? 3-4 months? Your edges grew extremely fast. Like really! It takes some people close to or over a year for their edges to grow like that. And, thank you for the advice! :)

  • GodCallsMeBeloved 4 years ago

Yes! The stockings are the best for those puffs. They’re easier to control..

  • GodCallsMeBeloved 4 years ago

You should still be able to pull it off! No sad face. :) Have you tried it?

  • GodCallsMeBeloved 4 years ago

Aww, you’ve made my day! :) Thank you!

  • GodCallsMeBeloved 4 years ago

    Thank you! :)

Have you been using any products to help promote growth? A lot of people rave about Jamaican Black Castor oil. I’ve tried it but became impatient because I didn’t see quick results. And, then I just stopped caring about my edges. Now, they’re growing back in. I’ve just noticed how much they’ve grown. But all I do is put Shea Butter on them from time to time and gel them down with Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera gel.

  • GodCallsMeBeloved 4 years ago

Haha! Yes! We have to work with what we have. :)

  • GodCallsMeBeloved 4 years ago

Sorry about my late response! But, I think I’m 4Bish.. And, I just subscribed to you! :) I think you’re 4A, because my hair had a tighter coil pattern when I was at your length.

  • GodCallsMeBeloved 4 years ago

You’re so welcome! And, how did it turn out?

  • TyeReview 4 years ago

I used to have a problem with my edges you just have to make sure that blood is properly circulating in that area. I would massage Jamaican black Castor oil diluted sweet almond oil warmed up in a circular motion. It took about 3-4 months with proper nutrition and no sugary drinks but now my edges are almost the same thickness as the rest of my hair. Just a tip <3 ps I enjoyed your video

  • bisiesweets 4 years ago

what type/brand of henna did you use that got your hair jet black?

  • eveedwardsxoxo 4 years ago

    You are very beautiful :)

  • GodCallsMeBeloved 4 years ago

18 inches? Wow. I used to use BCO and Emu oil, but I didn’t feel like they were working for me. I can be quite impatient at times, so maybe I was looking for results too soon. I’m learning not to focus on achieving growth, and I’m allowing my hair to do it’s own thing. And, to have different lengths throughout your hair can be frustrating, I bet! It’s okay. though. Patience is the key. And, I’m so happy this video was helpful! We must expect challenges to come along with our journeys. God bless!
